T. W. Tucker and Associates, Inc. has provided structural engineering services for clients throughout southwest Georgia for over five decades. The company was founded in Albany, GA by the late Thomas W. Tucker, P.E. in 1953
In 1992, Mr. Tucker formed a partnership with William A. Van Linden, and the firm was called Tucker and Associates. Mr. Tucker remained active in the firm in several capacities until his death in January 2001.
In the spring of 2000, Mr. Van Linden restructured and renamed the firm T. W. Tucker and Associates, Inc. Since June of 2000, the office of T.W. Tucker and Associates, Inc. has been located at 1710 Gillionville Road in Albany, Georgia. We are particularly proud of our team of professionals.
For each project, we consider the structural design of individual structural elements including roof and roof trusses, shear walls, columns, posts, beams and slabs and then the structural engineering design for the entire building. Each building is designed for site specific wind, gravity, and/or seismic loads as required.
At T. W. Tucker and Associates, Inc. we use state-of-the-art engineering and business management systems. Our office is fully networked and equipped with high-speed internet service. We utilize computer aided engineering design and drafting software, including AutoCAD Version 2009, RAM Elements and RAM Connection structural design/analysis software, and many other proprietary in-house programs. Using these tools, we are able to efficiently and accurately deliver high quality and timely deliverables to our clients.
